After having worries about my tummy pains, bleeding and coil I tried to seek help for over a week before in fact it actually feel out in my hand, me being a 20 year old this frightened me, the day prior i had a phone consultation with Doctor Holmes, who was rude and arrogant to me. He also implied that my shaking from anxiety was put on for attention "as it is not normal" When my thoughts were actually true my dad phoned and got hold of Doctor Holmes the day after where he was a complete different person, very kind, caring and sympathetic about my situation- booked me in for a doctors appointment the next day with a doctor who knew my background, to find that in fact it was actually both there days off. I have left the surgery now due to now help, constant telephone consultations and no answers after 6 years. I will be writing a complaint about the whole surgery.

Dr Holmes is polite always over the years that i have seen him. He does listen when and even if i am confused which can be often to me. He gives me suggestions on how to go about things in general and doesn't treat me like an idiot. I find it very hard to trust people and always think there is an agenda hidden from them. I suffer not only with physical but also mental health problems and he does not laugh at me but with me if i am trying to show my humour in something i did or said. Even if i am having a bad day and i am upset and angry he will listen and calm my mindset down. I don't like to go to any doctors i do not know but tend to stick to the same one as that same doctor really knows my personality well.

Extremely thorough, and keeps you completely informed. He also listens to everything you tell him or problem that you have and will discuss it completely. He will even adjust long term medication if he can show you how it can improve your health. I think Dr Holmes is an exceptionally good GP. He might make you wait a little longer to see him, but his concerns for your health are not limited by the amount of time allocated to GP's at the surgery.
